Luigi's Mansion 3 has a fair amount of content to complete throughout its story. However, for the most complete, some additional content has been included. The main one is a set of colored jewels for each floor of the building. Finding them will often be much more complicated than it seems. Without becoming puzzles, it will be necessary to use our tools in... "imaginative" ways.
In this section we will tell you how to get all the Jewels from each floor. In each section there is a link to the part of the guide where that jewel is found, if you are looking for some additional explanation. Keep in mind that you won't always be able to get all of them on your first visit to an area.

You have to use the dark lantern against this box, to the left of the elevator.
Go to the far left of the garage, go up the stairs and use Gomiluigi to get through the gate. In the small enclosure, rip the fuse box on the left with the suction cup. Then, all you have to do is give it a flash to be able to take the jewel.
In the garage, on the far right, tear this panel off the wall.
You will come to a service tunnel, on the right hand side there is a staircase. You will see the jewel as you go up. Once at the top, take out Gomiluigi and take him to the top left end of the walkway. It will slip through the cracks in the floor and you will be able to take the jewel.
In the laundry room. You have to use the suction cup to catch it.
On the stairs connecting the basement to the first floor. Climb to the top of the stairs and let Gomiluigi slip through the grate in the floor that we focused on in this image. It will fall next to the jewel.
Behind the counter. You have to go behind here to get the key to the next floor, so you can't lose it. What you need to do is flash against the switch on the right. This will cause the wall to rise and you can grab the gem. With that key you can open the door at the top of the stairs.
Next to the elevator. You have to shoot the suction cup to break the pedestal that guards it.
To the left of the elevator and before reaching the counter. You have to throw the suction cup to the furniture under the hotel picture and pull it. Doing so will open the box and the jewel will appear.
Go to the hall and place Luigi on one of these pressure platforms and Gomiluigi on the other. One of the two has to vacuum the lamp and switch to the other character, so that the other one also vacuums. Doing so will drop the yellow gem.
Go to the west end of the hall and use the dark lantern at the point we indicated. Some ectoplasms will appear that you must inhale, which will make a ghost appear that you must eliminate. By doing so you will automatically get the gem.
Go up the stairs behind the counter and go left when you get to the top. The camera will change to show you a vacuumable carpet. Doing so will reveal a grate on the ground. Sneak Gomiluigi and use the shock wave to knock the jewel to the ground.
As soon as you enter, you have to stand on one of the sides under the chandelier and blow or vacuum, depending on which side you are on. This will make the blades of the lamp spin, opening a door to the left where the gem is.
In the room just after the metal door where Ectochucho enters, next to the map on the first floor. You have to pull the purple coat on the left side to reveal a flash switch that will spawn the gem.
Enter the bathroom on the right in the hallway. Suction cup the rightmost door of the toilets, suck up the newspaper and kill the ghost to get it.
Before entering the restaurant, you have to spin the fans on both sides at the same time. Remove the sign with the suction cup, take out Gomiluigi and suck at the same time so that he falls from the ceiling.
After defeating the cook, tear off the freezer doors and enter the one on the left. If you use suction, you'll catch a block of ice with something in it. Without letting go of it, go to the stove, putting the block on top of one, and make Gomiluigi come out. Light one of the burners from the right side with your double and the block will melt, revealing the jewel.
In the pool room, picking up a sword and throwing it at the target.
Go to the right from the elevator and look for the vending machine below these lines. You have to shoot the suction cup and pull to knock it down and reveal a door to the laundry room. Inside, look in the upper left corner and you will see a panel with something blue behind it. Use the suction cup to reveal the jewel.
To the right of room 505 there are two statues on the wall. One has a hand with an orb, the other a gargoyle with the jewel in its mouth. You have to suck up the orb and shoot it at the gargoyle to get it.
On the balcony of room 508. You have to interact with the telescope and look through it until a ghost appears. When you finish him, you will automatically get the white jewel.
Remove the piece of furniture to the left of the elevator pulling at the same time with Luigi and Gomiluigi. Right after that you will see that a door is missing from the wall. Use the dark lantern to make it appear.
Once inside, use the dark lantern again in the corner where the pink luggage is. You'll spawn the door to the balcony, and here's a broken piece of railing to the right that leads you to a gargoyle, guarding the jewel.
The door to room 502 is also missing. Make him appear with the dark lantern. Remove the cart blocking the bathroom with the suction cup. Once in the bathroom, you have to remove the shower curtain and strain Gomiluigi along the floor, down the drain. Pry the wood off with the suction cup and vacuum the crank, while doing so switch to Luigi. Blow on the shower faucet until a box with the jewel appears, which you must break with the suction cup.
You need to go to room 507, in the east corridor. Go into the bathroom and tear off the cloth in the upper left corner to reveal a small path. You have to use Gomiluigi at the bottom to get to her.
In the far right bathrooms. Tear off the panel on the left wall and use the dark lantern to reveal a grate on the floor (you can see it in the mirror). Sneak Gomiluigi for her. Go left and blow the crank to drain the water. Bring Gomiluigi back to the men's room, use him again, this time get him through the hole behind the panel. And that's it, now you can take the jewel.
After going through the revolving door, go up the stairs and into the hallway on the right. In the background is a vending machine. Use the flash several times, until he gives you the jewel.
On the top floor of the shops, go down in front of the shop with the ace of spades. On the railing, in the lower left corner, there is a semi-hidden path that will take you to the right. Go all the way past the elevator, and from there further to the right, to reach a small room with a chest where you will find her.
Use the dark lantern to the left of the shop with the diamond to spawn a ladder. The jewel is upstairs, in a chest.
At the jewelry, the diamond shop. Once inside with Gomiluigi, you have to slam some piece of luggage against the north display case. You may break it in the fight against the ghosts, but if not, you will have to use the items around you.
In the clothing store, the one with the heart. You have to use the suction cup on the mannequin on the left to open a secret door. Use the vacuum cleaner in that room to get the jewel.
Next to the elevator. You have to blow on the tuba with Luigi until the jewel appears from the mouth of the instrument, switch to Gomiluigi while continuing to blow and inhale to catch it.
On the far left of the hallway: you have to fire the popcorn machine until it ejects it.
In the west sink. You have to use the dark lantern on the stack to reveal a griffin. By interacting with it, a ghost will appear that will drop the jewel.
Go into the bathroom on the right. You have to use Gomiluigi to pull the "chain" behind bars so you can interact with the Boo on the wall. This will take you to a hidden room. All you have to do is blow, one by one and from left to right, ALL the bottles (the ones with no caps). You will see the ceiling decoration react when you have done it right. Then open the safe to find the jewel.
In the pianist's room, to the left of the stage. She lights the piano with the dark lantern and then interacts with it to make the gem appear.
Once you have access to Super Suction, head back to the auditorium. It will be infested with ghosts, kill them all. In front of the painting where Toad was, you will see, on the floor, what is obviously a trapdoor. ZL+ZR on it and a super suck button will appear. Tear down the entire wall to reveal a secret band of ghosts, and when it's all gone, you'll see a TV with a flash switch. Interact with the TV and you will reach a box with the jewel.
In the armor room. You have to use the dark lantern in the upper right corner to make a secret armor appear. Then you use the suction cup to smash it against the ground and voila.
In the room to the left of the market. You have to use the suction cup against this brick wall. Pulling them will make the wall move and you can find the jewel in a chest.
In the barrel room, where the golden key is. You simply have to tear off the lid of the barrel on the right, and get into the hole on its right side. You won't be able to see it well, but there is a ladder that allows you to climb up to the jewel.
In the elevator room, at the bottom. You have to blow the left fan to lower the cage and be able to enter with Gomiluigi to pick it up.
In the corridor just before the boss, the one with all the tapestries on the walls. Tear off the last one, the biggest of all, and use the dark lantern against the wall to reveal a treasure chamber where the jewel will also be.
In front of one of the two armors that are on the path after defeating the boss, it has no loss.
In the elevator corridor. You have to use the dark flashlight under the yellow box to make it appear.
In the room you reach when you go up the stairs. Go to the right side and rip the cover off the bottom cabinet, next to the bed. Send Gomiluigi down the hole and use the flash against the flower above the canopy to make the jewel appear.
In the bathroom of the previous room. You have to vacuum all the flowers to see the jewel in the bathtub and a grate to the left. Sneak through her with Gomiluigi. You will reach a lower area where you can vacuum more flowers. Right at the end don't go through the ducts to the right. Instead, vacuum the leaves on the north wall to reveal a third shaft that leads to the jewel.
In the bathroom of the second bedroom. Use the dark lantern in front of the toilet and a grate will appear for Gomiluigi to pass through. With him downstairs, turn the faucet in the upstairs bathtub with Luigi to make the water run, and use the dark lantern on the broken pipe below to make a plant with the jewel bloom. Give it a flash to make it loose.
In the area you reach after a wall collapses, the one with the mushrooms. You have to go down with Luigi, because if he doesn't he won't change the camera , by the point that we indicate in the image below these lines. In the lower area, with Gomiluigi, you can sneak through a pipe in the upper right corner. Use the flash when you exit to the small area in the lower right and you will get the gem.
At the top of the blue plant. When you reach the carnivorous plant above, go left and suck up another coiled branch that serves as a bridge, go across, remove the leaves from the north wall, enter the room, go right after the crystal and you will reach it.
Next to the elevator. Vacuum the helicopter blades until the door opens and you fall.
In the room after the corridor of paintings. You just have to pull the film roll cord from the counter. Then sneak through the fence on the left to go behind the counter itself and take the jewel.
In the same room as the previous one, just to your left. You have to remove the pot with the suction cup and then vacuum the carpet. No more is needed.
In the building set. You have to vacuum the sheet from the bike and defeat the ghost.
In the cardboard box set. Enter the bottle on the left with Gomiluigi.
In the room where the televisions are. You have to get on the left platform and use your clone to suck up the crank and reach the platform. At the top is a block of ice that you and Luigi need to vacuum up. Then go into the leftmost screen, where at the end of the level "puzzle" will be the torch. Grab it with Gomiluigi and melt the block to get it.
Make turn the swivel chair at the desk in front of the elevator.
In the west hallway. You have to vacuum the flowers to reveal a switch that will move the fossil on the wall. Now you just have to use the flash against the safe to get the second gem.
After saving Toad, vacuum it up and shoot it at the pterodactyl above the elevator.
Blast the bottom right display case in the room and trap the ghost.
Just to the right of the entrance to the boss area. Break the display case to get it.
In the bottom left corner. After you pop the display case, use the dark lantern to make it appear.
Walk left after taking the golden key (entering the center grate, hidden behind a curtain and you will get into the conduit that leads you directly to it.
In the platform area in the center and the yellow staircase, enter the southwest door. Remove the cleaning cart with the suction cup, sneak Gomiluigi through it, open the chest, remove the box on the right and you will find a conduit to the gem. Don't forget that you can change the flow of water with Luigi, by sucking or blowing the crank.
In the control room. You have to make the pot in the lower left corner appear using the dark flashlight, then flash the switch hidden behind the chair, next to the console.
After draining the water, in the sewer area where the "ghost sharks" are, you can rip off a pipe cap and sneak in with Gomiluigi . Once inside, take the fire on the left and take it to the right, under the bucket with food. The jewel will come out of there.
After draining the water, in the area of the first spiked door. You have to get on the elevator in the lower right corner, lift the platform with Gomiluigi and switch while continuing to vacuum the chain. Once up, simply use the vacuum to grab the jewel.
After the part where you get the crank back with Toad, you'll come to some raised platforms, and when you go down, you'll see that there are a lot of of paint buckets in the background left. You have to inhale one of them and throw it precisely against that hole, which we indicate in the image, so that the ghost that carries the gem appears.
In the initial corridor. Pull the ball under the head of the snake statue so that it opens its mouth and find it.
In the outer area of the pyramid, go right and vacuum up the sand that covers the snake. Use the dark lantern to make the missing parts appear.
It is also outside the pyramid, on the left side. Since there aren't many waypoints, just use this image to find out where it is. You just have to vacuum the sand for it to appear.
In the mummy room. You have to go to the lower right corner, look for the sarcophagus and pull it with the suction cup. There will be more sarcophagi inside, at the end there is a ghost that drops the gem when sucked in.
In the Treasure Chamber room, which you reach by going up the stairs from the main chamber. You have to complete the puzzle with the pieces, find the one in the shape of a cross and place it on the left wall in the front part of the room.
In the room with the weight puzzle. Go through the grate on the left with Gomiluigi and open the chest.
In the room to the left of the elevator. You have to turn the wheel on the north wall. Some swords will appear that will stick into it until the jewel appears.
In the bathroom of the previous room. You have to vacuum all the cards (they're all in the bathroom) for it to appear.
When you get to the area of the living room with a stage, you will see that you have showcases to the left and right. Take out Gomiliuigi, then go to the far right of the room and use the suction cup to rip off the panel next to the vending machine. You will see that there is another flash switch that will open the windows. In the cabinet on the far left is the green gem, you have to vacuum it up before the glass closes.
It's in the northernmost room, where the rabbit/golden key is. You have to suck up the piggy bank in the upper left corner and throw it against a wall. The jewel will be inside.
In the bathroom of the room, the "flying" bed. You have to focus the dark flashlight to the lower left corner, as we show you in the image below. In the mirror you can see that there is a painting and, as has happened on other occasions, with the dark flashlight it will spit out a gem.
You have to take the rus exit from the room with the "flying" bed. With the giant hat on your head (you can put it back on with X), go right and press ZL+ZR when you're in front of the statue. If you've done it right, it will land on one of the heads of the statues, a ladder will appear, and you can grab the jewel from a chest at the top.
After you get Super Suction, you have to use it to the left of the ship to vacuum the whole room. If you look to the right, where the carpet used to be, there is a red X on the floor. Stand on it and press ZL+ZR to get the jewel.
Just to the left of the previous one is a green pipe with a grate through which Gomiluigi can pass. You will see that you appear behind the bar on the right. Apart from money, you can vacuate a globe. Throw it into the corridor to be able to catch it with Luigi, go to the right and, in the corner on the right, you will see some balls hanging. Shoot the globe at them to get it.
In the bar-cave behind the hidden door on the ship. Go left as soon as you enter and you will see an open box under a skull. You have to use the dark lantern to make a rope appear and pull it to make the white jewel appear.
At the beach, go left and you will see a sand statue on a small islet off the shore. You have to suck the coconuts from the palm trees to shoot them and break it. A ghost will appear which, once defeated, will drop the gem.
At the beach, go to the far right, bottom right corner, and shine the dark lantern to the east. You will reveal a secret bridge. Vacuum the sand on the islet you are taken to to reveal the jewel.
Just from the previous one, focus the dark lantern to the north. You will make another bridge appear to the other islet. Vacuum the sand and a chest will appear with it inside.
In the hall, next to the elevator. Place Luigi and Gomiluigi on the central symbol to raise the display case. So you can aspire to the trophy in which the gem is embedded. Smash it against the ground to be able to catch it.
In the room to the left of the hall, where the table with the doorbell is. If you tap it a few times and go to the left, you'll see the buzzer beep only a couple of times. Approach it to touch it again and a ghost will appear, once killed, it will give you the jewel.
In the locker room, on the left side. Going down the stairs, you will see a sign indicating where the pool is on the north wall. All you have to do is vacuum up a ball and shoot it at the billboard for the gem to appear.
In the weight room, in the lower left corner, there are stairs that take you to an elevated area. Go to the far right, take out Gomiluigi and make him stand on the scale. If you look in the mirror, you will see the red jewel. To catch it, without going down to the gomi on the scale, simply descend the stairs and vacuum the left column from the north face.
In the training room with treadmills and stationary bikes. What you have to do is give the radio three flashes, so that it "changes the station". When you get to the third one, you'll see that the light goes down, go down to the area with the tapes and you'll see that there are several ghosts. Kill them so that the last one drops the jewel.
In the shower room. Make Gomiluigi sneak through the drain and you will see that you have a crank on your right. If you blow, you will drain the water. Now all you have to do is sneak through the grate on the right to find the last jewel on this level.
Right in front of the elevator, on the floor that lights up when you step on it. You have to follow a specific path within the floor to make all the pieces light up. The route is under these lines.
You will see that the jewel does not appear directly, and that two squares are turned off. What you have to do now is place Luigi on a dark square and send Gomiluigi to stand on the dark square where Luigi is not there. You will have to repeat the process several times until you can go down some stairs and cross a gate where you will find the gem.
As soon as you exit the elevator, head left. You'll see an apparent dead end, two DJ turntables, and a neon sign. Vacuum the dishes and you'll see a brick block sticking out next to the neon appear. What you have to do is switch to the gomi without stopping vacuuming, get under the block and use ZL+ZR just below, coins will come out and, at the end, the jewel.
Following the corridor to the right of the elevator, you will pass the cloakroom. Enter through the right door, lifting the bar with ZL+ZR, and then going left to the coat area. Vacuum all the coats on the left side. You will see that the platform is raised and, when you inhale the last one, the jewel will appear.
After defeating the boss, on the dance floor you will see two unlit tiles. As we did at the beginning of the level, place Luigi on one and Gomiluigi on the other. This will spawn a super suck switch to raze the area with. Rip off the entire wall to reveal a dressing room. On the far right of it you will see that there is a mannequin without a wig. Use the dark lantern to make it appear, then vacuum the wig to get it.
In the dressing room, flash against the wall plate with a flash switch. This will spawn two sets of stairs, one on the left and one on the right. Go left.
You'll see that, if you look closely, there's a lamp that doesn't have a table, it's floating. When using the dark lantern to reveal the table, a ghost will appear to be eliminated, as so many other times, to get the jewel.
This jewel requires you to have deployed the stairs on both sides of the track (you did this to get the previous one). What you have to do is take out Luigi and Gomiluigi to vacuum up the dishes that are on the walls of those two raised areas. Vacuum until the disco ball breaks and inside is the jewel.
As soon as you start, on the left side of the big screen next to the elevator, you will see a pipe through which Gomiluigi can sneak. Doing so will spawn right over the elevator machinery. You have to look for the hole in the north wall, half hidden by the angle of the camera and the machinery. Let yourself fall for it and you will get it automatically.
It's also in the big screen room. All you have to do is place Luigi and Gomiluigi on the circular tables. A structure will rise from the ground from which the green jewel will emerge.
In the library (bottom left room). You have to go to the left of the switch that disables the lasers to sneak into a small gap behind the left bookcase. Once there, destroy/vacuum all the books until you find a book that doesn't destroy and gets stuck in the mouth of your vacuum, all the other books break, so it's impossible to get confused.
With it in your possession, you have to go up the stairs to be able to place it in this spot to the right of the key. By doing so, the wall will move and the gem will fall.
In the corridor where the doors to the four rooms are, on the south wall of the lower left room (the library). You have to look for the painting of King Boo with a strange sculpture or vase in front of it. If you zoom in, the camera changes, and when you suck/blow on the vase, you'll see the shadow change. The idea is that you get the shadow to make the silhouette of King Boo. The box will open and a silhouette of Luigi will appear. Blow/inhale again to superimpose the shadow on the silhouette and the box will reopen, revealing the jewel.
In the bedroom. You have to manage, with Gomiluigi, to sneak through the bars in the upper right corner. Keep in mind that you can only get there with Gomi, not with the normal Luigi.
If you don't know how to make the platform go up, you can use the video below as a reference. Basically, it is to step on the purple-orange arrows alternating to make it go up.
In the shower area. You have to cut the tap in the upper right corner and sneak Gomiluigi through the grate on the floor. Once there, simply go to the hole to the left of the "sewer". You will see the jewel just above a green grate, sneak through it and you will come out next to the gem.
Once you have all the jewels, go to the Laboratory > Gallery > Special objects. You can install the Quartz Chupoun for your suction cup. It has no special effect, it is merely aesthetic.
