Frida Kahlo has become news again many years later. This is because, for the first time in history, her belongings will be exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. This has made the Mexican artist symbol of feminism return to the spotlight, as it is the first time they have left Mexico. There we can see her clothes, her objects and even the makeup products that she used, including the eyebrow pencil that is still on the market.
The exhibition begins in June and includes all the elements that helped Frida create her aesthetic, including her colorful clothes, her red prosthesis and some of the makeup products that the artist did not part with. According to The Guardian, among them are a lipstick, a fuchsia blush and a pencil for the eyebrows. Everything is from Revlon and she shows that the visionary knew the importance of bushy eyebrows long before Cara Delevingne came into our lives.
It may surprise you that these products are still available today. At least, an improved version of them with different packaging, but from the same firm. Therefore, if your love for art and beauty goes further, you can always meet them in London and then get hold of them at the nearest makeup boutique (or on Amazon).
