School goes viral for suspending boy who mistook Nirvana for a clothing brand

Currently, it is very rare that clothing stores do not have a t-shirt with the logo or image of a band, which has come to annoy the heart fans of those groups, because, according to them, there are people who buy them without know some song of those bands. If you belong to that segment of the population, then you will want to enroll your son or nephew in the viral elementary school, Yeshiva Har Torah.

That modern orthodox school in Queens, New York, became very popular on social networks because an eighth grade student (second in high school in Mexico) was suspended after he mistakenly thought that Nirvana was a clothing brand. In addition, the institution issued a statement where they made a request to their students.

The Twitter account of the Yeshiva Har Torah school made a statement to inform their students about the update they made to their dress code and also revealed that Nirvana was the reason why they decided to take that action. The tweet went viral in a matter of seconds.

Although the seriousness of the tweets is unknown, the school noted that the student, who said "I thought Nirvana was a clothing brand," had been "indefinitely suspended." And they even indicated that the students who were upset with the facts had the doors open to expose their annoyance.

A week after their viral statement, the school shared a video on their Twitter account showing the progress they have made on their dress code update. In the clip, a girl appears holding a Rolling Stone sweatshirt, and saying three songs by the band.
