Esther Doña: The sappy story of Pedraz's girlfriend with the marquis of risqué messages

"To you, my love, for making me the light of your life." With this dedication, Judge Pedraz's girlfriend, Esther Doña (43), also the widow of the Marquis of Griñón, begins the book that she dedicates to him, worth the redundancy, to her former husband, The life of a great man through my eyes (Planet). In its almost 300 pages, it reveals and reels off the ins and outs of their love story, which began, like that of two crazy teenagers in love, via WhatsApp.Esther Doña: The sappy story of Pedraz's girlfriend with the Marquis of risqué messages Esther Doña: The sappy story of Pedraz's girlfriend with the Marquis of the risqué messages

The couple met at a dinner hosted by Doña's cousin. According to his account, he was instantly captivated. "I fell in love with a Zara dress, can you believe it?" recalls the model about what Falcó used to say. Apparently, clothing was one of the points to which he paid most attention and, according to Esther herself, he "bragged about having been the one who chose the outfits for one of his wives, particularly famous for her elegance at the time of the day." To wear". Would it be Isabel Preysler? Or maybe Jeannine Girod?

Until the transformation of Esther Doña into a marquise took place, there were many previous steps. Specifically, many previous messages. The model has decided to publish in her book the WhatsApp messages that they exchanged for weeks and that made her fall madly in love with him. In fact, the first time they said "I love you" to each other was through the mobile.

There are messages of all kinds. From flattering: "Esther, I just woke up and I saw your profile photo. Wow! You remind me of Madame Butterfly. Precisely, the previous weekend I went with my son Duarte to Paris to see the play. Later, we had dinner with the soprano She sings beautifully. I don't know how you sing, but you are so much prettier." Even, let's say, naughty: "What a great body you have in the profile photograph, I don't know if I'll sleep. Does it mean 'want me'? Because it does." Doña acknowledges that this one in particular did not sit well with her, but the marquis deployed all his weapons and even wrote her a poem. "Oh, beautiful vestal from Malaga! And slowly walk through your arms, fine and elegantly shaped like an Andalusian madonna, or your muse hair with my fingers...". And thus, at the stroke of virtual Shakespeare, Carlos Falcó conquered Esther Doña.

The model admits that the age difference was something that put her off. There was a forty year difference between them. "Daughter, you're not going to be his wife, you're going to be his nurse," her mother told her, but she didn't care. She was fascinated by a man who had lived so long and had such impressive friendships. Of course, if the daughter of Aristotle Onassis was in love with your boyfriend, the history of the other suitors you may have remains quite normal...

She also fell in love with the details he had with her, like the time he went to pick her up to take her to Malaga and start their life together in Madrid. "It was a memorable trip. Carlos traveled with his son Duarte, who had decided to spend those first days of the year with his father, and the three of us enjoyed my land together. He did not arrive empty-handed, but rather brought a gift for me, a beautiful pashmina from Hermès. At that moment, he decided that every season he would give me one." For readers outside the world of luxury fashion, a brand shawl is around 965 euros. Everything is little in the name of love.

Esther Doña: The Sappy Tale of the Pedraz's girlfriend with the Marquis of the risque messages

Esther Doña and Carlos Falcó passed twice by the altar. First there was a secret wedding, they wanted to feel, as they say, a "naughty couple in love." Later, they made their union official in a ceremony that they celebrated in style in what was their home, the El Rincón Palace. "I was already the Marquise of Griñón: I didn't care, but in front of the public it gave me the legitimacy that some, before, had resisted giving me."

Who? She leaves it up in the air; she has to show that she is a fine and elegant lady. This is like the story of "the prince and the commoner". Being a marquise is not easy and the world of the aristocracy embodies its intricacies. Doña illustrates this with an anecdote: the day she came down to dinner in a robe and pajamas. "He seemed genuinely shocked. For a moment, I was tempted to laugh at him and sit down to dinner in my pajamas and robe. But then, like a shudder, I could feel the decades of marquises and marquises who had inhabited those halls judging me, the Carlos's ancestors, the royal blood and even the Great Captain condemning me with his eyes, so I turned around, went up to my room and put on the first dress I found".

Carlos also forced her to get rid of all her jeans, lest Fernández de Córdoba declare war on them from beyond. The only thing that allowed her was to press the button on her Nespresso machine to prepare her coffee in the morning, "because a lady, and even less a Marchioness, should not be in charge of cleaning, cooking or any other daily task."

The fairy tale ended on March 20, 2020. On that day, Carlos Falcó died of the coronavirus. "The gentleman is dead", he remembers him saying to the service at that moment. This is how the book begins and ends, full of lights, but without a trace of the shadows that hung over the relationship, like the exclusive sound of this supplement about the argument in the Eurobuilding for which he ended up in the police station. There are also occasional contradictions with what, up to now, has been published in the media. For example, in the book, Doña explains that one day she suddenly felt the urge to leave El Rincón: "Without Carlos, that was a home without a soul." However, this supplement published that the children of the marquis, after a few months, decided not to continue paying the maintenance costs of the palace.

Nor does it deal in depth with Doña's relationship with the family, which has always been rumored to be not a very good one. LOC has learned from sources close to the Falcó that they are not interested in commenting on the book. In fact, they even doubt that they will read it. "If there is a publication dedicated to his father and it speaks well of him, then that's it."

María Eugenia Yagüe published in LOC an interview with Esther Doña in which she hinted that things were, to say the least, cold with the Falcós: "I was married to the father and my relationship was with him, not with his children. The father from above will be watching it all."

What she will also be observing is her relationship with Judge Pedraz, although according to what she herself recounted in ¡Hola! Carlos Falcó even commented that, the day he was not there, she would like them both to end up together. Doña, as a faithful lover, seems to have followed her husband's wishes to the letter. Except for the jeans, which recently walked dressed in them and some converse through the streets of Madrid. So now will you do anything more than push the button on the Nespresso?

Against Tamara's book

The news of the publication of Esther Doña's book about her relationship with Carlos Falcó was a total bombshell. At first it was because of what he could tell, but the expectation increased when, in September of this year, he officially learned of his relationship with Judge Santiago Pedraz. Both perform quite well as protagonists of the couché role, although it is causing problems for him. Let us remember that LOC published that the judge of the National Court José Ramón Navarro suggested to his partner that he reduce his media exposure, since he was causing discomfort within the court.

Doña, on the other hand, was doing well. Until now. The book has gone on sale without the flourishes and grand presentations that usually surround this type of release. The reasons are a mystery, although after reading the different episodes of the work, it may be that Planeta expected something more than a sweetened love story.

Meanwhile, Tamara Falcó presented her book, 'Las recetas de casa de mi madre', in which, through the kitchen, she recounts family details of her parents and siblings. The book by the daughter of the Marquis de Griñón did have a great presentation. In addition, at the close of this edition, it is placed in the ranking of best-selling books on platforms such as Amazon or Planeta de Libros. Not a trace of Doña's. The same takes time.
