It is worth noting that the League is a global coalition of workers of the maquilas and free zones from ten countries around the world, who demand justice of large brands for what they demand: decent salaries, safe factories and stable jobs.

"We are trying to dialogue with the company for a good treatment and to recognize us as representatives of our colleagues," said Julieta Morales, a worker of the cutting area and general secretary of the new organization.

New trade unionism in maquila
