These are the clogs from Zara's summer collection. They are already sold out in practically all numbers. /dr
Anyone who has ever tried to walk in clogs knows what I'm talking about. And I'm not talking about being funny on a trip to Holland, I'm talking about walking for real. And it is that its hard wooden sole prevents you from bending your foot normally and since, in addition, it is heavy, I do not even want to tell you. It is a true ordeal. The designs, materials and technologies have advanced a lot but I am already one of the 'haters' of clogs and it will be difficult for me to change my mind. Although I have to admit that there are two designs that have made me doubt and they are from the summer collections of two Spanish firms, one of them Zara. At the Inditex flagship they have a model of clogs that has been a hit since it went on sale a few weeks ago, as part of its latest star collection. And they are sold out! Will I have to try again with the clogs? Do they deserve a second chance?

I have to add that it's hard for me to get used to the idea that clogs are summer footwear. Yes, they wear the heel in the air but it doesn't seem what is called 'cool' to deal with the high temperatures. And in the case of these from Zara, their 'kitten' heel doesn't quite convince me. Will they be comfortable? It is clear that yes, there was a wide variety of numbers, from 36 to 41 and they are all practically exhausted. And that they are not cheap, precisely: they cost 109 euros. It is true that they are made of leather, both on the outside and on the inner lining, so I do not rule out giving them a chance. If they have devastated, it will be for a reason.

The option of the Spanish firm Laagam seems somewhat more acceptable to me. They are made of cotton (by the way, they are veraganos) and it seems that the foot will breathe a little more. The wood still seems hard to me but having the rubber finish at least they won't slip (another of my fears with clogs). They cost 65 euros and are made entirely in Spain, both the design and the manufacturing.
There is a third option in Pull&Bear although, honestly, I see these more for being at home than for going out. They are these and they cost 35.99 euros. Flat, with details of studs and buckle, what they do have is comfortable.

Honestly, I think that, in my case, I'm more of the 'team sandals'. And you? Do you dare with clogs? Have you ever worn them or are you joining the trend now?
