Her style 'effortless' and packed with her latest trends has positioned her as the true muse of 'Emily in Paris' and as our new favorite French girl.
No doubt. Emily in Paris has become the new Netflix phenomenon that everyone is talking about. And when it comes to style, the fashion industry in general (and the Vogue newsroom in particular) is clear: Camille is the true muse of the series and our new favorite French girl. Actress Camille Razat plays Camille, a young art gallery owner whose looks (by Patricia Field, renowned stylist from Sex and the City and the Devil Wears Prada) are a source of absolute inspiration that perfectly capture that effortless style. while elegant so characteristic of the French. In fact, costume designer Marylin Fitoussi (who has taken the reins of the series while Field has assumed the role of consulting stylist) says that "Camille is the quintessential Parisian it girl on and off screen."
From her asymmetrical LBD from the Danish firm Elaine Hersby to her red cat-eye glasses from Valentino, through her Mary Jane Nodaleto-type shoes and, of course, clothing and accessories from some of the French's favorite firms; her coordinated look from Coperni, her zebra boots from Isabel Marant, her jackets from Balmain and Saint Laurent, and her hats from Maison Michel. Camille's simple and hopelessly cool style is one of Emily in Paris's strengths. So, we compile some of the pieces that the character wears in the Netflix series and that we want to incorporate into our wardrobe.
