We treasure much of Elsa Schiaparelli's legacy, and along with her masterful way of introducing surrealist art into fashion, there is her passion for the color fuchsia, or as it came to be baptized 'shocking pink' or Rosa Schiaparelli, in honor of the designer Italian company that presented it for the first time in 1930. Since then, fuchsia has been with us and has made our clothes and accessories more vibrant. More than 90 years have passed and this shade is still a trend.
Spring 2021 has been painted in bright and cheerful colors, to get us out of that lethargy when dressing that we lived from last year. Our looks will be filled with greens, pastels, sparkles and also the color fuchsia, a hue that will prevent you from making any style mistakes to look older, quite the opposite.
Fuchsia, and pink as such, is one of those colors that divides opinions. For some it is their go-to color and for others it can be very childish. But this season fuchsia is anything but that and they have presented it in a variety of shapes and silhouettes, garments and details, it will be very difficult to resist it. And just as there are inelegant ways to wear your blouses, of course there are sophisticated and not at all girlish ways to wear the color fuchsia. Take note and don't let Signora Schiaparelli down the next time you wear her 'shocking pink' one.

As you will see, the fuchsia color is one of the most striking in the entire tonal palette, so it does not need much more to stand out. It already stands out on its own, so giving it all the prominence is the first maxim, so that it doesn't clash unnecessarily with other prints, bright colors or other outlandish accessories. Which is not to say that you go for fabulous monochromatic looks with matching suits.
If you are looking for other options besides creating a monochromatic look in fuchsia, you just have to know that the best and most popular colors that combine with this other tone are: red and orange, to create an eye-catching color blocking; black and white, of course; and navy blue too.
Of all the shades of pink that can exist, fuchsia is definitely for everyone. If you do not sign up to use it, it is because it may seem very striking, but never think that it is not for you, because both blondes and brunettes fit perfectly. It makes you look more alive, shiny and, if used close to the face, it will give it more shine.

In case wearing a piece of clothing is a very risky first step for you, perhaps you can use the color fuchsia as an accent to complement your outfit instead of making it the key piece of the outfit. Think of a bag, a necklace or an accessory to wear in your hair.
Any garment can look elegant if it is well made and cut to perfection, but it is true that in certain colors there may be small adjustment errors, but not in a fuchsia dress, pantsuit or coat. Anything that is too bulky (not intended that way) or not made correctly can ruin your look, unlike a dressy shirt or on-trend satin midi skirt.
